10th Street Residence
Major Interior Remodel of a Cape Cod Inspired Home
Originally built in 1948, this Cape Cod style home needed some improvements to create a cohesive flow and provide a more contemporary look through the living spaces. Using a multi-phase approach, the home remodel affected both the public and private areas of the home including the kitchen, family room, hall bathroom, master suite, entry staircase, and several windows. The star of the kitchen is the Lacanche range the homeowners acquired and wanted to incorporate into their design. With this as its centerpiece, the kitchen was remodeled to have other modern upgrades such as a pot filler over the stove, a dog bowl kick-out drawer, a wine fridge, gorgeous cabinets, and a sitting island. As you make your way upstairs to the primary room, you will find a newly redesigned bathroom. It now features Zellige tile on the shower and walls, Carrara marble trim, and Moroccan tile flooring. Careful thought was put into reconfiguring the layout to create more space and a cohesive aesthetic, resulting in a home with elegant details that our luxury home remodel clients adore.
